This is an ongoing series of constructed photographs by Zander Olsen. These works, carried out in Surrey, Hampshire and Wales involve site specific interventions in the landscape, ‘wrapping’ trees with white material to construct a visual relationship between tree, not-tree and the line of horizon according to the camera’s viewpoint.

Megan Matsuoka made this poster as part of a self-imposed challenge called 100 Posters in 100 Days. “To boost my creativity, practice my design skills, and learn to not over think too much - I’ve set myself a goal to create a 100 Posters in 100 Days,” she says. “I have chosen to use inspirational quotes as my content.”

Her only rule was that she had to create each one within an hour.

These are high-speed photos of paint splashed just the right way to simulate flowers!

Photographer Jack Long diligently plans out each photo, shooting hundreds of tests. None are Photoshopped other than to “clean up” the photo.

    Erika Iris Simmons

My name is Erika Iris Simmons and I like to take things- random things- like what you would find at a garage sale or in a thrift store- and make them into composite art. Most of my pieces become portraits of people associated with the item I’ve chosen. I don’t really add any paint or pigments… I usually just take things apart and re-arrange the pieces, cutting away portions when necessary. A lot of my art is made with cassette tapes and old film reels in a series I call “Ghost in the Machine.”

Oh, wow, lots of new followers! Hi, you guys!
